My son needed assistance to help him get back into the Singapore curriculum from mid-P5, having been away for a full academic year. Shalni helped turn him around from struggling with his English, to being confident again. Furthermore, while many students head off to tuition classes with a heavy heart, this was not the case with my son attending Simply English. Shalni clearly creates an environment that engages the kids and leaves them looking forward to attending – and if a child enjoys attending tuition, then more than half the battle is won!

Both Shalni maam and Rosh are amazing teachers for GP! I was a return student as I  had taken up their lessons for PSLE and O levels as well and their teaching has paid off. Their lessons are extremely engaging and content taught is thoroughly explained. I was also able to ask questions multiple times, even those I’ve asked in the past. I would definitely recommend Teacher Shalni to any child who wants to do better in English. My girl started attending her group lessons in Term 4 of P5 2023. Before attending, compo, vocab, synthesis, editing, Compre close and OE compre were challenging to her. However, in just a span of 1 year, she has improved tremendously in confidence and skill in the difficult components. Shalni gives additional practices and shares them with parents. She often shares current affairs with the students. Shalni also dotes on the children with treats and gives words of encouragement. Shalni is highly familiar with the English curriculum and imparts her knowledge to her students effectively. I am so thankful to have found her. My girl has just taken her PSLE and I am thankful she went in calm and confident. Thank you Teacher Shalni for all the hard work and effort!

I signed my daughter up with Teacher Shalni sometime in June this year after I realised how unprepared she was for her N levels. My daughter connected with her immediately and agreed to go under her tutelage. Through the 5 months, Teacher Shalni constantly updates me on her progress, she is extremely patient and always tries her best to accommodate any last min change inspite of her busy schedule. She is both gentle and firm at the same time, pushing my daughter to reach her potential and giving her best work. Mrs Doshi is an approachable and encouraging teacher who has a strong positive relationship with her students.  She is extremely dedicated and will ensure our leaning is maximized.  She is very patient with all her students and will help them whenever they need.  Furthermore, Mrs Doshi makes lessons fun and engaging through different methods, such as various group activities.  Despite having to switch to using zoom during my o level year, she still continues to teach with enthusiasm and her lessons maintain engaging and fruitful.  I would definitely recommend her if you’re looking for an English tutor.
